The Wrap
The AI build's constraint has moved into the supply chain
Amazon's aluminum order, Hitachi's 2029 transformer plant, and PGIM's Munich permit sale all price the same scarcity: the inputs that decide when a hall energizes.

2:19 p.m.
The Wrap
Carbon and wind deals settled with the price column blank
Unpriced corporate offtakes keep the benchmarks unset and push cost discovery onto regulators, utilities and state procurement.
7:59 a.m.
The Wrap
The SPAC's collateral is a grid queue position
Blue Acquisition Corp's 15-year CoreWeave lease on a Niagara cryptomine prices a decommissioned power plant's connection at AI rates, making the tenant's contract stack the publicly traded collateral.

11:59 a.m.
The Wrap
AI infrastructure now prices the calendar ahead of the tenant
Rune's $40 million raise and Microsoft's six-year filing are the same wager from opposite sides: schedule risk has become the thing AI infrastructure buys.

11:21 a.m.
Fundraising
Power funds filed at zero while credit took $1.1 billion
Two power-plant ownership vehicles launched with nothing behind them; the week's only sizeable mandate lends against buildings that already stand.
8:03 a.m.
The Wrap
Data center debt now underwrites development, not tenants
Serverfarm's $895 million add-on and Vantage's $2 billion borrowing base make the leasing forecast, not a named tenant, the core of the collateral.

8:08 a.m.
The Wrap
Firmus's $5bn Listing Prices the Contract
Australia will decide whether sold AI megawatts can be underwritten as infrastructure while the quarter's energy deals still trade without numbers.
7:25 a.m.
The Wrap
Naturgy pays €330m for the grid it already holds
Naturgy's cheque, Palisade's unpriced pipeline and Bannock County's reversal vote all price the same scarce thing: permission to connect.

2:23 p.m.
The Wrap
AI financing has two buyers left: the customer and the state
Oracle's customers buy the hardware, SpaceX's book rests on four names, and where nobody signs, the Pentagon writes the loan.

11:56 a.m.
The Wrap
The unpriced deal is now infrastructure's default language
From a shareholder-list loan to 2.7 gigawatts with no capital stack, the week's announcements disclosed position and withheld price.
7:58 a.m.
The Wrap
The data-center capital stack now prices one tenant
A 16.2x tower multiple and a $1 billion unnamed hyperscaler contract show the market only finances named offtakers.

11:28 a.m.
The Wrap
Digital infrastructure splits into contracted assets and merchant shells
As T5 splits operations from construction and Grain assembles a $1.6 billion fiber roll-up, the market separates contracted cash flow from merchant shells.
8:04 a.m.
The Wrap
Ignis IPO forces a price on megawatt math
A EUR600m ceiling is less a capital raise than a forced disclosure of what a transition platform is worth when the owner, the offtaker, and the tariff can no longer stay off the record.

2:19 p.m.
The Wrap
The new data-center bottleneck is consent
A grandfathered-permit inventory in Loudoun, a council moratorium in Ontario, and a conditional tax holiday in Brazil all point one direction: the right to build has become the scarce asset.
8:02 a.m.
The Wrap
Crusoe's Quant Anchor Rewrites Data-Center Underwriting
A five-year Jane Street cloud contract and a 20MW mining-to-AI pivot show anchors now come with counterparty risk, not just duration.

8:08 a.m.
The Wrap
Google puts a price on duration
A long-duration battery on a reclaimed West Virginia coal mine has landed what no merchant battery in this cycle has had: a hyperscaler willing to pay for time.

8:03 a.m.
The Wrap
Grid access becomes a customer class, not a queue
Grid access is becoming an underwriting variable, set by customer class and budget line rather than queue position.

8:02 a.m.
The Wrap
Industrial power buyers stop waiting for the grid
Captive solar, municipal PPAs, and repowered wind are shifting the scarcity premium from grid position to self-supply capability.

8:04 a.m.
The Wrap
The energy buildout now prices consents, not cash flows
Grid position and permits are the assets changing hands in this week's milestones, while offtakers and prices stay unnamed.

2:29 p.m.
The Wrap
GPU Cloud IPOs Inherit Nvidia's Merchant Risk
With the chipmaker's revenue-sharing backstop on hold, Yotta and ESDS are testing whether public markets will underwrite an order book as if it were a hyperscaler contract.

11:58 a.m.
The Wrap
The transition trade splits in two
Capital is paying up for grid position and firm electrons while unbuilt wind goes to an insolvency sale.
8:18 a.m.
The Wrap
Anchor tenants split the digital infrastructure stack
The Nscale-Anthropic lease and Rum's penny warrants show how tenant quality, not megawatts, now sets the cost of capital.

8:01 a.m.
The Wrap
Grid access is the new deal currency
From a no-cash cryptominer buyout to a €470m pipeline premium, developers are pricing power positions as contingent claims.

7:32 a.m.
The Wrap
P3 capital flees the political spotlight
While I-77 stays stalled and Tennessee's Choice Lanes fight for political air, the winning move in transport P3s is the quiet concession.

2:28 p.m.
The Wrap
Data Centers Move From Grid Tenants to Power Owners
Nvidia's Cloverleaf stake and developer-built generation show that the AI buildout's bottleneck has shifted from land and chips to electrons.

Power politics now sets the AI data center calendar
Front-end costs and approval queues, not capital, now decide where hyperscale computing gets built.
7:58 a.m.
The Wrap
The energy transition trade is splitting in two
Large buyers are consolidating wind and solar platforms while new capital chases storage and grid stability. Hydrogen, without an offtaker, is left behind.

3:47 p.m.
The Wrap
Data centers have money and power. They lack permission.
The AI buildout is financing dedicated power plants and taking balance-sheet stakes in data centers. Seven in ten Americans now oppose a local project.

8:14 a.m.
The Wrap
AI infrastructure is now a balance-sheet trade
GDS raised its sales target past one gigawatt and guided to $1.4 billion in capex while Blackstone's BREIT put $3.3 billion into QTS. AI infrastructure has moved from niche vehicles to core allocations.
