How PWD Jobs works
A jobs board for the people who run, advise and serve private wealth, built the way we build our reporting: from primary sources, checked, and honest about what we don’t know.
3,331 open roles at 233 firms today
The short version
- We read each firm’s own careers site.Never another job board, never a recruiter’s copy. If a role isn’t on the firm’s site, it isn’t here.
- We check every role every day.A role stays on the board only while the firm’s site still lists it; we check at least every 36 hours. When it comes down, it says so here, and it leaves the board after 30 days.
- You apply on the firm’s site.“Apply” takes you straight to the employer. We never take applications, résumés or any files, and we never see what you send.
What’s on the board
Roles in wealth management and investing at: RIA, Hybrid RIA, Wirehouse, Broker-dealer, Bank and trust, Family office, Custodian, TAMP and OCIO, Hedge fund, Private equity, Venture capital, Real estate investment manager, Asset manager, Private credit, Infrastructure investment manager, Private markets, secondaries and fund of funds, Alternative asset manager, Wealth-tech and platforms. Advice, client service, investments, trading, operations, compliance, growth and distribution, leadership, family-office leadership, tax and trust, technology and data, corporate development and talent.
Insurance sales agencies, staffing and recruiting agencies, and roles unrelated to wealth or investments are left off. Pay appears only when the firm posts a range; we never estimate it. Firm size comes from the firm’s SEC Form ADV filing.
Where roles come from
- Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workable
- The public job-board feeds these hiring systems publish for each employer.
- Recruitee and BambooHR
- The employer’s own public careers list, read only where its robots.txt allows.
- Firms’ own careers pages
- Pages that publish structured job data for machine reading (including Workday and JazzHR job pages), only where robots.txt allows.
We never take roles from LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, Monster or Google’s job listings.
Our crawler
Every request we make identifies itself with one user agent:
PrivateWealthDaily-Jobs/1.0 (+https://www.privatewealthdaily.com/jobs/about)It honours robots.txt on every careers page, paces its requests to each site one at a time, backs off when a site asks it to, and stops for good when a firm asks us to.
Your job search and your privacy
When you view, save or set alerts for jobs, we use that activity to tailor alerts and, if you opt in, to let recruiting firms know you are open to opportunities. We never share the jobs you looked at, never accept applications or résumés, and never tell your current firm.
- Keep my job search private. Turn it on in My Desk and your job activity is used only in anonymous totals.
- Open to opportunities is off unless you turn it on. It lets recruiting firms in our network know you would consider a move. We never tell your current firm, and you can turn it off at any time.
- Job alerts go only to the address you type for them, each with its own unsubscribe link. They are separate from our editions.
For employers
Opt out or ask for a takedown. Email editor@privatewealthdaily.com with your firm’s name and careers site. We remove your roles and stop reading your site within one business day.
Corrections. If we have your firm type, a location or a role wrong, write to the same address and we’ll fix it. Listing your roles here costs nothing; any paid placement is labelled “Sponsored”.
