As a Senior Associate, Institutional Sales, you will play a critical role in driving Clarity’s growth by sourcing, developing, and expanding relationships with institutional investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. You will be on the front lines of sales execution, responsible for generating new business, supporting large transactions, and contributing directly to the liquidity and trading volume on Clarity’s platform. This is a high-output sales role, ideal for someone with strong prospecting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a drive to exceed revenue targets while building trusted client relationships.

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

  • Building expertise in the secondary market for pre-IPO securities; understanding market dynamics, key participants, and the role of Clarity.

  • Prospecting new institutional and ultra-high-net-worth investors through targeted outreach, strategic calling, and sales campaigns.
Supporting the development of client relationships by delivering compelling communication and positioning Clarity as the premier marketplace for secondary trading.
Driving sales growth by identifying opportunities, executing transactions, and contributing to platform adoption.

  • Expanding Clarity's footprint by uncovering new investor pools and supporting the growth of existing accounts.

  • Consistently meeting and exceeding individual performance metrics and revenue goals.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a highly motivated, persuasive sales professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and a sense of urgency.

  • Have a proven track record of success in business development, institutional sales, investment banking, mutual fund sales, or related client-facing financial roles.

  • Bring 3-5+ years of experience working with institutional or ultra-high-net-worth investors, ideally in capital markets, private equity, venture capital, or financial product sales.

  • Hold a relevant educational background, such as a commerce or economics degree, or strong academic performance in a related discipline.

  • Be FINRA Series 7 and 63 licensed or willing to obtain shortly after hiring.

Compensation: Highly competitive compensation commensurate with experience and contribution.

  • Vancouver, BC: $200,000-$600,000+

For this role, the estimated total compensation range is listed above. The actual base salary, variable bonus (if applicable), and options grant will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified.

Benefits & Perks:

  • Opportunity to participate in ownership of a rapidly growing company through our employee stock option plan.

  • Comprehensive 100% employer-paid health & dental premiums and a Health/Personal Spending Account for Canadian employees. (An employer-subsidized benefits program is available for US-based team members).

  • An engaging social calendar, including bi-weekly catered lunches, bi-weekly “Friday bar,” team workouts, annual summer party, and holiday party, two “onsite” all-team retreats each year, semi-annual team-building events, and Clarity Women’s Network events.

  • Significant opportunities for growth into team leadership and management roles.

  • Entrepreneurial culture and a small and dynamic team.

  • Sponsorship, immigration, and relocation for exceptional candidates.
