At a glance

  1. Igneo's $6 billion fund is roughly four times Churchill's $1.54 billion, and I Squared Capital's $3 billion infrastructure vehicle, filed Nov. 3, is half of Igneo's.
  2. Four other managers filed zero-asset vehicles: Blackstone Credit & Insurance's SablePointe Credit Strategies, Apollo Global Management's European Credit Company, CVC Capital Partners' CVC Secondaries Debt Fund I, and Hines Global Real Estate Opportunities.
  3. For advisers fielding sponsor questions, the due-diligence shortlist is the same for all seven vehicles: how the fund values its holdings, how often it prices them, and on what terms investors can exit.

SEC filings show Igneo Infrastructure Partners filed European Infrastructure Fund IV with $6 billion in assets and Churchill Asset Management filed Junior Capital Opportunities Fund III with $1.54 billion, the week's largest infrastructure and private credit fund filings. Both were recorded on Nov. 2.
