Mondevo opens Ittikar family-office capital network beyond its 100 founding members

The platform ran Mondevo Group's Caruso and Underscore District acquisitions, then opened to outside family offices.

At a glance

  1. The group set out the plan in November 2025 and had the platform running four months later, ahead of its announced schedule; until now, the release says, it served only those members.
  2. The pitch is that families analyze a deal, invest and raise capital in one place, with an AI layer doing the reading.
  3. Fabio Brambilla, co-founder of Ittikar and of Mondevo, credits the same engine members use with reading and assessing a whole dossier in days, each finding backed by sources and the investment committee note finished before advisers would normally have completed a first read.

Mondevo Group has opened Ittikar, its private capital network for family offices, beyond the 100 founding members that have had it since March. The group set out the plan in November 2025 and had the platform running four months later, ahead of its announced schedule; until now, the release says, it served only those members.

The pitch is that families analyze a deal, invest and raise capital in one place, with an AI layer doing the reading. Mondevo tested that on its own money: the group used Ittikar's due diligence engine to acquire Caruso, the Italian menswear house, in February, then Underscore District, the Milan brand accelerator behind Magliano, GR10K and the multi-brand retailer WOK Store, in August.

Fabio Brambilla, co-founder of Ittikar and of Mondevo, credits the same engine members use with reading and assessing a whole dossier in days, each finding backed by sources and the investment committee note finished before advisers would normally have completed a first read. That account covers Mondevo's own deals and is the group's to make; whether an outside family sees the same compression is what the network now has to show.

Where the data sits

Mondevo is selling the architecture as much as the introductions. Each member family keeps its records in its own sovereign Data Pod, in a jurisdiction of its choosing and under its own encryption; the group says the build follows GDPR, the NIS 2 directive and the EU AI Act, a stricter path than it says it needed to take. Every member gets an assistant called Itti, and the platform itself is built in-house by Mondevo Tech, which the group describes as more than 50 engineers supervising 120 AI developers.

Cristiano Motto, co-founder and chief technology officer of both Ittikar and Mondevo, frames the design as a question of ownership: a family's data belongs to that family. This publication has argued that the AI premium in wealth has shifted from model quality to the governed client record, and Ittikar applies that argument to family capital, where what matters is less the model than where the data sits and who controls it.

Behind the software the group places a family office with 25 years in investing and relationships with 500 family offices, distribution being the asset every deal network ultimately trades on and a figure that remains Mondevo's to claim. The concrete record is two Italian brand deals closed months apart, both run through a platform that was then opened to outsiders. A family weighing the invitation has to settle something simpler than whether AI can read a dossier in days: whether it wants its deal work, and its pod, inside a network owned by another family's group.
