Waterton acquires 453-unit City Walk at Woodbury, plans value-add

Connect CRE reports two four-story buildings, a clubhouse and 24,000 square feet of retail.

Waterton acquired City Walk at Woodbury, a 453-unit rental community in Woodbury, Minnesota, Connect CRE reported on Oct. 8.

The wrap-style community comprises two four-story residential buildings, heated indoor parking garages, a clubhouse and 24,000 square feet of retail space. Waterton plans a targeted value-add program for the residences, hallways and common areas.

The plan commits capital to an existing property, the posture Deloitte's survey described in September, when 46% of respondents expected no sales and nearly 80% planned repositioning, as this publication reported.
