Investor-to-RIA matching service that sends quiz-qualified prospects to fiduciary advisory firms
Charleston, SC, USadvisor.comNot yet confirmed by the company
Advisor.com runs a consumer-facing matching quiz and passes the resulting prospects to registered investment advisers that join its network. RIAs buy it as an outsourced client-acquisition channel instead of running their own digital ad campaigns.
Participating firms build a profile describing their ideal client, and investors answer a short questionnaire about assets, timeline and needs. Contact details are validated before a match is made, and the prospect record is delivered to the firm by email, portal or API. Investors can compare up to three matched firms. Prospects are sourced through paid advertising, search and influencer placements.
The operating company, ADVR LLC, is itself an SEC-registered investment adviser and also runs an in-house wealth management service. Leadership is based in Charleston, South Carolina; founder Hunter Stunzi.
