HealthView Services provides software and data that estimate retirement healthcare costs. It sells to financial institutions, which license tools and data feeds for their advisors, and to individual advisors through its HVS Portal.

The portal produces personalized projections of lifetime healthcare and long-term care costs from a few inputs (gender, age and health status), calculates Medicare IRMAA surcharges and models Social Security claiming. The CarePath app adds long-term care cost projections with longevity modeling and state and metro-level cost data. The company says its models rest on hundreds of millions of actuarial claims records under a patented process, and it offers APIs and data web services to institutions. It also publishes an annual retirement healthcare cost data report.
