What it does

Index One is a cloud platform for building and running custom indices. Its buyers include RIAs and wealth managers designing rules-based or direct-indexing strategies, as well as ETF issuers, index families and institutional investors that need an index calculated and published.

Users assemble an index from universes, signals, screens and weighting rules in a visual workflow editor, with an AI analyst to help, then back-test it on point-in-time data before taking it live. Live indices are calculated daily (intraday on enterprise plans), with rebalance alerts, corporate-action handling, factsheets, public index pages and embeddable widgets. Results are delivered by REST API, MCP server, email, SFTP, S3 or webhook.

Index One Ltd is based in London. Pricing is published: a free Explore tier, Research at $90 per month with one live index, Professional at $450 per month with five indices and five seats, and custom Enterprise plans; there are no AUM or licensing fees.
