What it does

Maus is exit-planning software for financial advisors, CPAs and certified exit planning advisors who serve private business owners. It follows the Exit Planning Institute's Value Acceleration Methodology and names broker-dealers among its users.

The product comes in three modules. Attract covers prospecting, with email and social campaigns, a marketing library, a ScoreYourBusiness lead assessment and prospect scoring. Engage delivers business valuations, exit-readiness assessments and action plans. Build adds strategic planning and a KPI dashboard fed by financial integrations such as QuickBooks, with BVR DealStats transaction data supporting valuations.

Maus traces its business-planning software to 1992. It was acquired by private equity firm Bomb Diggity Ventures and moved its headquarters to Land O Lakes, Florida; Aaron Stine is CEO. Published prices are $299, $399 and $499 per month for Attract Social, Engage and Build.
