Desktop retirement projection software that lets advisors build a visual retirement picture with clients
GA, USFounded 1993retirementviewpro.comNot yet confirmed by the company
RetirementView Pro is the professional edition of Torrid Technologies' RetirementView software, sold to financial advisors, planners, CPAs and insurance agents who want a quick, visual way to show prospects whether their retirement savings will last. It is positioned as a meeting and closing aid rather than a long-form planning report.
The advisor enters a household's accounts, income and spending into a fill-in-the-blanks file, and the program draws a single color-coded chart of the client's retirement, flagging in red the years when money runs out. Advisors can change inflation and return assumptions live, illustrate bucket withdrawal approaches, and run the tool over screen share in Zoom meetings. Subscriptions cover unlimited clients and accounts and run on Mac or Windows.
Torrid Technologies, a privately held company based outside Atlanta, was founded in 1993 by Timothy Turner. It also sells consumer editions of RetirementView and its WebCalcs web calculators to financial companies. Published pricing is $97 per month, $499 per six months or $899 per year, with a free trial.
