Fee-only advisor matching service paid through fee-sharing once a matched client signs

What it does
Wealthramp matches consumers with fee-only fiduciary advisors from a network it screens itself. Advisory firms join the network to receive introductions, and pay Wealthramp only after a referred investor becomes a client.
Investors answer a short survey and review up to three advisor profiles showing qualifications, SEC records and pricing models, then schedule a meeting or request a call; advisors cannot contact them first. Every advisor is interviewed by the founder before joining, and Wealthramp says it turns down advisors who offer to pay for placement. It also publishes guidance on topics such as divorce, stock options, windfalls and special-needs planning to attract investors.
Founded by Pam Krueger, co-host of the PBS series MoneyTrack; it made its first match in 2018 and says it is not venture-funded. The business model is a fee-share with the advisor rather than an up-front charge.
