zerohash
API infrastructure for crypto trading, stablecoin payments and tokenization
Chicago, IL, USVenture-backedzerohash.comNot yet confirmed by the company
What it does
zerohash sells API-based digital-asset infrastructure to banks, brokerages, fintech companies and payment firms that want to offer crypto inside their own products. It is not a consumer exchange; the end user stays in the partner's app.
Its main product areas are trading, money movement and tokenization. For trading, it offers embeddable buy and sell functions, staking and qualified custody for crypto and tokenized assets. For money movement, it handles stablecoin pay-ins and payouts, remittances, account funding, and conversion between fiat and crypto through on- and off-ramps. For tokenization, it provides an engine for issuing and managing tokenized funds, securities or deposits. Custody, liquidity, compliance controls, transaction monitoring and settlement sit underneath all three, and developers connect through published API documentation.
zerohash is based in Chicago. Its U.S. entity, zerohash llc, is registered with FinCEN as a money services business and holds a New York BitLicense; the company also lists European licensing under MiCA. Press coverage on its newsroom reports a $104 million funding round in September 2025 that valued the company at about $1 billion, and a 2026 application to become a national trust bank.
