  1. Actyus will manage the €20 million fund and Andbank will distribute it to high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors, with Adequita Capital as founding financial partner and developer.
  2. The vehicle, named Adequita Centros de Datos Edge Iberia FCRE, awaits authorization from Spain's National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), El Español reported, as cited by Data Center Dynamics.
  3. The fund's edge sites would sit outside the larger data-center population Spain's pending rulebook addresses, giving investors a lighter draft 80% renewable-generation obligation than utility-scale campuses.

Actyus, Adequita Capital and Nethits Telecom are setting up a €20 million ($22.3 million) venture capital fund to develop Edge data centers in Spain and Portugal, with Spain as the primary market.

Nethits contributes telecommunications, fiber and systems-integration expertise. Terms such as fees and minimum ticket were not disclosed.

The fund's edge sites would sit outside the larger data-center population Spain's pending rulebook addresses, giving investors a lighter draft 80% renewable-generation obligation than utility-scale campuses. The decree, still in the legislative process, would require larger facilities to cover 80% of electricity consumption with new renewable generation certified hourly, while the National Commission for Markets and Competition has suggested relaxing that requirement. The gap matters: national rules are moving toward hourly matching while Europe's rating scheme can be satisfied on annual renewable arithmetic.
