  2. OpenArc Corporate Advisory recorded the most tracked events (98), ahead of UBS (95), RFG Advisory (85), Kestra Private Wealth Services (77) and LPL Financial (73).
  3. Nothing in the counts says whether advisors arrived or left.

Over the past 30 days, our records show 1,991 advisor moves and 34 breakaways — roughly 59 firm changes for every advisor who left to start an independent practice. Advisor moves were the heaviest of the twelve activity types we logged in that window; breakaways were the lightest, behind office openings (45) and custodian changes (36).

OpenArc Corporate Advisory recorded the most tracked events (98), ahead of UBS (95), RFG Advisory (85), Kestra Private Wealth Services (77) and LPL Financial (73). Further down the list sit The Retirement Planning Group (69), Frost Investment Services (64) and MissionSquare Wealth Management (61).

Those totals count every kind of event we log at a firm — advisor moves, executive changes, deal announcements — so they measure how much is happening at a business, not how many advisors it hired. Nothing in the counts says whether advisors arrived or left.

Advisor movement outran every other category we tracked: 1,991 events against 805 announced deals and 485 executive changes in the same 30 days. That is more than double the deal count and roughly four times the executive changes.
