Modera Wealth Management has launched Mira, a proprietary agentic AI platform for its advisors, the Westwood, N.J., fee-only firm announced.

Modera said the platform has been available to its advisors since July and that it is partnering with OnTrade to help power the AI behind Mira.

The firm said Mira is designed to bring data and financial workflows together in a governed environment, eliminating some manual work for advisors and negating the need to toggle from one tech system to another.

Modera said the platform also supports its acquisition strategy, allowing firms that join to consolidate their data onto a common platform and use AI-assisted analytics for risk monitoring, financial planning and investment strategy reviews.

Modera reported more than 6,300 clients nationally and about $20 billion in assets under administration as of Sept. 30. It said the build reflects two years of technology development and investment in operational and technology leadership, data restructuring, and data and AI governance.

President Joe McCuine said in a prepared statement that advisors "will earn back hours from operational duties" to deepen relationships with clients and centers of influence, gain referrals and attract assets from existing and new clients. He said the firm believes the integrated approach "will also appeal to firms that have seen limited benefits from adopting individual AI tools without a broader enterprise strategy."

Pitching data consolidation to prospective sellers treats integration cost as a recruiting argument, which suggests the platform is aimed at Modera's deal pipeline as much as at its current advisors. The release does not quantify the operational savings it expects.
