Nebul contracts more than 1,000 Nvidia GPUs in Belgium

The Leiden-based AI cloud provider adds a second site, at Datacenter United's Machelen campus, with Lenovo supplying GB300 NVL72 racks.

At a glance

  1. Lenovo will supply the GB300 NVL72 systems, and Nebul calls the deployment a SuperCluster.
  2. Allocators holding or lending against European data-center platforms have two names behind Machelen: TINC, which took a 75% equity interest in Datacenter United in 2020, and Cordiant, now Corilis, which took a stake in 2024.
  3. Nebul is based in Leiden, South Holland, and sells access to Nvidia DGX, HGX, OVX and RTX platforms with GPUs including B300, B200, H200, H100, L40S and L4.

Nebul contracted its second data center location, at Datacenter United's Machelen campus in Belgium, for more than 1,000 liquid-cooled Nvidia Blackwell Ultra GPUs in GB300 NVL72 systems, Data Center Dynamics reported.

Lenovo will supply the GB300 NVL72 systems, and Nebul calls the deployment a SuperCluster. Terms were not disclosed. Datacenter United says the campus supplies the power, connectivity and advanced liquid-cooling infrastructure the racks need.

Allocators holding or lending against European data-center platforms have two names behind Machelen: TINC, which took a 75% equity interest in Datacenter United in 2020, and Cordiant, now Corilis, which took a stake in 2024. Nebul, the signed tenant, has disclosed funding of a €20 million ($22.7 million) round from June 2024, so tenant credit is the underwriting question rather than occupancy.

Nebul is based in Leiden, South Holland, and sells access to Nvidia DGX, HGX, OVX and RTX platforms with GPUs including B300, B200, H200, H100, L40S and L4. The company said earlier this year it would be the first cloud platform to offer Speedata's Analytics Processing Units. Datacenter United was founded in 2010 and operates 14 data centers across 12 locations in Belgium.

Arnold Juffer, Nebul's chief executive, said: “The demand is there, and it is larger than the capacity Europe is building today.”
