Nordic portfolio accounting and performance software for family offices and pension funds, now part of Hypergene
Bergen, NOPart of a larger companyhypergene.com
Escali is a Norwegian portfolio, asset and treasury management system that Hypergene, a Swedish finance software company owned by Thoma Bravo, agreed to acquire from Stacc in March 2026. Hypergene now sells the portfolio side as its Asset Management product and pitches it to family offices, with variants for pension funds, insurance companies and alternative investment funds.
The software tracks equities, funds, bonds, options, forwards and futures; measures performance to GIPS standards using time-weighted and money-weighted returns; imports contract notes automatically from more than 30 brokers and banks; books trades with realised and unrealised gains and posts entries to the general ledger and ERP; and monitors mandates, benchmarks and risk across portfolios. Reporting is delivered through Escali Reports or Power BI, with market data from Bloomberg, LSEG, ICE, Infront and Nordic Bond Pricing.
Escali is headquartered in Bergen with an office in Oslo; Hypergene says it will fold Escali into its broader platform over time.
