Ting will keep serving its Colorado Springs customers through the transition, which the company said will be completed no later than June 30, 2027. The transfer ends Ting's presence in the city; it also operates in California, Idaho, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia and Arizona. "The move also aligns with Tucows' ongoing strategic process for Ting," said Dave Woroch, Tucows' president and CEO.

Separately, gFiber said the Colorado Springs City Council approved its lease agreement with Colorado Springs Utilities to use a new utilities fiber network to connect local homes and businesses.
